I do message boards to read opinions and to express my own. I'm not a fan of having a "filter" and I can be kind of stream of consciousness.

Actually, what most people call spam is either (a) advertising, or (b) posting a ton of more or less content-free threads one right after the other.

It's not like I just started using the Internet yesterday and have no idea how people use the term "spam."

Nick Cave reminds me of film noir. The grim content is more used for shock value/artistic quality rather than resonance. Actually, noir with a Nick Cave spoundtrack would be cool.
