I have never heard of Nick Cave, what album should I get first?

Edit - Never mind, read upwards and saw recommendations already. That said, I doubt I will be convinced of this threads claim, but I hope it is true, discovering something that great would be awesome. Ill soon offer feedback

I'd recommend starting with Let Love In. Not only is it one of his best albums, but it also reflects a good variety of his various styles.

:)

Uh, how irritating. Was looking for The Birthday Party stuff and was sure we had it in stores considering they were from Melbourne and... Nothing. Did they stop distributing albums or something? :/

You probably would have heard the song 'Red Right Hand' from the album 'Let Love In' which is a good album to start with.

I've heard of him, he's Australian, that's always a good start.

I voted for "Very Good". He's got definitely one of the few male voices that can really move me.
