^ and how many great musicians and artists experience the same thing? it could be argued that nirvana got a lot more respect and attention after cobain died, does that diminish their talent? of course not, they're an amazing band, regardless or when they started to get more attention. The fact that people started paying attention to buckley's music after he died has no relevance whatsoever.

But Nirvana were well known when Kurt Cobain died.

When Jeff Buckley died it made a little paragraph on about page 8.

Might have been because Jeff only got a chance to record ONE ALBUM.

Nirvana, whether you personally liked them or not, were a massive global success when Cobain decided to kill himself. Had Cobain shot himself after Bleach, then nobody would have cared. That was my point, try to keep up.

Well, I figured you needed it pointing out as your previous post contained nothing relevant to the topic.

No my point was until he died he was just yet another singer songwriter in a long list of singer songwriters , my other point is Grace isn`t all that & most of the best songs were covers.

But people choose to ignore that & make him into some sort of martyr.

There are many people who thought he was an incredibly talented man with a beautiful voice, who wrote some beautiful songs. I happen to be one of them.
