Default The Mars Volta

I have liked Queens of the Stone Age for a while, and I ran across The Mars Volta recently, and they really surprised me with how great they are. I then found TV on the Radio, who are not quite as good, but I still like them a lot. Are there any other bands that fans might recommend to me?

At the Drive In was the band Cedric and Omar were in before Volta, it's got a much stronger punk influence than Volta, but very good. Relationship of Command is the best album to start with.

Good band to make a thread about, but not only is there already a thread, they're prog, not indie
