Chris Corner (Sneaker Pimps) solo project that takes root in 80's electro pop via twisted lyrics regarding sexuality, alienation, drugs and fueled with a Berlin-era bowie topping (it's no coincidence that he now lives there). I only have the above album but I'm hooked straight away. Pop music with a bit of attitude.

I've heard a few things and it didn't catch on. By now he's become so popular with the teen gay population on my gay forum (even more than Patrick Wolf believe it or not) that I'm kinda disinclined to give him a proper chance. :\

I like the simplicity of his music and not really bothered about popularity or lack of it. If it's not your bag then it's not your bag!

Ok well I've given Kiss + Swallow a listen and it's not bad. I've heard Sailor off it previously and it's not the best song to see what this album is about.

Oh and it doesn't really fall under pop...

What is it then? I am just trying to explore new music and maybe get people listening :(

I don't know what the rest of the album sounds like but the song in the youtube video sure sounds like pop to me.

I meant that it would have been better to put this in the indie forum, it's not really commercial music...plus, judging by the response, people don't come here very often...:\

Incidentally, his singing reminds me of Matt Bellamy from Muse...
