check out their Lost & Found EP (if you can find it!) for some of the most interesting covers songs you'll ever hear:

1. "Bad Moon Rising" (Creedence Clearwater Revival)
2. "Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd)
3. "Tourniquet" (Marilyn Manson)
4. "Fire and Ice" (Pat Benatar)
5. "This Little Piggy" (Traditional)
6. "All Tomorrow's Parties" (The Velvet Underground)
7. "Rock and Roll" (Led Zeppelin)

in my book, it's bordering on blasphemy to cover Wish You Were Here, but they actually do the song justice. find it on youtube (just ignore the unrelated video somebody mixed it with...)

It's a lot of people's favorite, but I'd go with Thanks For the Ether for you, it's quite goth, but there's a lot of gems in there. Also, Remnants of Percy Bass from Cabin Fever! is one of my favorite songs by them, the middle is tedious at first, but it somehow grew on me, haha.

I'm glad you like them, transylvanian concubine is probably their most famous song, and I do enjoy it =]

The thing about rasputina is, even if you don't like their music, you can really appreciate their mastery of their instruments.

That is their gift-- they are amazing musicians I wish more people
would listen to them-- it's the most non- cheesey stringed instrument music
you can find. Melora Creeger is like a classically trained cellist whose style Kurt Cobain admired and therefore used for the In Utero sessions & tour--

They're actually more popular than I thought, I just found out that melora was used for the Repo! soundtrack (which isn't the best, but I can still here her influence....slightly)

Yep. You must understand there is a distinct cross genre appeal going on so there are more listeners than you may think too. I thought that soundtrack was cool -
