Default Austn

Hi Forum, I'm Austn...pleased to meet you all...I posted a quick ntro N the neebies forum...I'm a Alternative/Ndie artist that has been accused of sprinkling Bowie's Ziggy stardust over Beatles tracks that were run thru a Coldplay synthersizer while adding a little Dave Matthews on top for spicyness...After recording and working for a living, I don't have alot of time to promote myself...know what I mean...Soooo...Well....please take a look at me and my music, if you please, it won't you take long at mixposure.com/austn , downloads can be found at most of the usual sites...and by all means e-mail me and let me know what you all think of my works, I strive to live and learn...CY_BER_ROCK...-Austn

Post Haste started as a couple of unlikely lads from a town called Southport near Liverpool in the UK. Two guitars and two 10 watt amps became their hobby, and after a year or so of out of sync covers and p*sstaking songs, they discovered a prodigy in Stevie G, who now writes most of the material and is the lead singer/guitarist. After Neb became drummer the band was complete. I won't give you a full bio, you just wanna hear the music

www.purevolume.com/posthaste

come check it out

like what you hear and from the area or beyond, the next gig is at the Carling Academy in liverpool. one to watch fellas, im not messin'!

Default Winterville

A band to definitely check-out are Winterville. They are a great new Rock band who's single Under My Skin entered the UK Rock Chart a few weeks back, with practically no promotion or publicity behind them (just from word of mouth).

I got to see them recently too, and they were knock out!! I am going to see them again on 22nd November at the Marquee Club in London.

I believe they have their debut album coming out on 14th November, with some great tracks

My Angels
Breathe
Mr 3% (acoustic)
Nobody

the list goes on...

Check them out.

How is it possible that in a thread about indie/alt. record labels nobody has mentioned SST? The label responsible for giving us Sonic Youth, Husker Du, Minutemen, Dinosaur Jr, and Soundgarden, among countless others?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go to:

sstsuperstore.com

right now.

Default Cold Driven

This band is kicking some serious @$$ in reviews on http://www.garageband.com/artist/colddriven

they are a BC Canada band, just released first cd in October... got to check it out!!

they are also a featured new artist on FOX's Indie Night show page right now... you can click on the listen now button and hear one of their tracks there too.

http://www.cfox.com/shows/indie_night.cfm just scroll down the past weeks playlist and they are like 3rd band down.

www.m-promotions.co.uk

I guess this is just some shamless promotion, but in the coming weeks we hope to build up a reference site with contact details and information for upcoming bands. Offering a range of information from within the music industry, not just structered to the Indie and Alternative genres but spanning all musical tastes and types.

www.thisnovemberregret.cjb.net

This will be our sister website, the online uk based music magazine that runs alongside the promotions company, this will be used a resource for bands, with interviews, reviews, analysis, articles, and many other features.
