Sly and the ***s
I discovered this combo today, and wow, i took a slap in the face! The sound go from punk/disco to new vave/pop. It's catchy and a song like Coco chic could be a hit.
What do you think of that band? http://www.myspace.com/slyandthega yz without space between slyandthega and yz

They kinda sound like a million other new wave bands, a lot of which do it better. Like White lies, or The Bravery...or why not Duran Duran...

I don't want to look like a veteran, but i was 18yo early on the 80's. I know what new wave is. You compare things that can't be compared. Sly and the ga ys is more a dance floor band than a new wave/rock band.
