Chroma Key (very melancholic), Explosions In the Sky and An Explorer (a lot of his music is available free to download, I would post a link but I can't post links yet XP). I've never tried to sleep while listening to Coldplay, but I would have to agree they're probably a good band for 'sleeping music.'

I don't actually sleep listening to music either, heh. I mean, regularly, every night. Occasionally I'll be in a really calm, melancholic mood and turn off the lights and put on some music and that's what I listen to and BAM I'm asleep :P

Red Hot Chili Peppers used to be my favorite band years ago. Their music just helps me sleep; songs like scar tissue, californication, aeroplane. I know it's kind of weird. I dunno who started the thread, but I'm definitely not the same person...

Well those later-era songs would put anyone to sleep. I guess when I think of RHCP I tend to think of their good songs from back before they sucked, which are more likely to make me want to party than to make me want to go to bed.
