Must say i didnt expect such a lukewarm response, the album is very good, very raw and, yes, in a way amateurish. They recorded it in a caravan for **** sake! But thats the good thing about them in my opinion, at times its sloppy, at times its clumsy, thats what makes it an interesting listen. Theyre just 3 guys going at it. Plus, its a surprisingly experimental piece in places, with sitar breaks, dub sections and minimalist excerpts.
Anyway, if you're able to get hold of the album i'd advice you at least just give it a listen |

I actually saw them live last summer and it was epic.
Bought the record and it was... Meh. I like their punk side, I dislike their "Yes"-side.
