Mostly Germanic i thought? Vikings and the French were germanic and they invaded us. With a bit of Brython, Saxon and Angle as well. Mongrels you could call us.

We are indeed the mongrels of Europe Sandanavians were their own people? and was Frieseland originally of Germanic descent? A lot of our language is descended from Flemish. don't forget there is a little bit of Roman in us too!

Norway, Sweden and Denmark were all Germanic because of past invasions. I think France was? Although thinking about it it was the Normans that invaded us... Ah yes and the Romans of course
