Default Sebadoh

Quite possibly the best indie rock band I've ever heard, incredibly underrated. Anything Lou Barlow does is pretty much gold. What do you guys think?

So does Daniel Johnston. Might I ask where you found that pic?

He was pretty adorable when he was young. How tragic.

I like him better when he looks like someones gross unemployed uncle who still watches cartoon network.

I have 'III' by Sebadoh, but I don't get it. I've been meaning to give them another shot with Harmacy or Bake Sale, but I havent gotten around to it.

Yeah, I recommend Bakesale, almost the whole album is flawless.

I haven't heard Bakesale but Harmacy is extremely good.

Default Most definitely

I saw them in concert about 2 years ago in a small atlanta venue... lou barlow and eric gaffney were selling the merchandise. i got a few pictures with them and signed vinyl copies of bakesale and sebadoh III. best show i've ever been to.

initially thought they were garbage, but i now really like them. in particular, "Bubble & Scrape", my favourite album by them.

I got Harmacy maybe 5-6 years ago and thought it was ok, shelved it after a listen or two. Then sometime last year (or earlier this year) I heard "On Fire" on the local indie station and it hit me. I got online to see the playlist and decided to pull the CD off the shelf. Since then I've gotten Bakesale, Bubble & Scrape, and III...but still like Harmacy the best, with Bakesale coming up second.

I've only gotten One Part Lullaby from The Folk Implosion, which I think is good but suffers a bit from the use of electronics, IMO. I'm still intending to check out more stuff.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
