Skylarking is so good, but I have no idea where to go next.

I only ever listen to White Music for Radios In Motion, Statue Of Liberty and Science Friction now. Haven't given the whole album an end-to-end go for an age or two lately though. Also, I reckon the alternate version of This Is Pop beats ten bells out of the version you'll find there on White Music.

...and just keep going from there. Apart from the Big Express and (at a push) Go2, I wouldn't call any of their other albums poor in the slightest myself.

Never said they were bad. I love Go 2 and White Music has some excellent tracks (I'm all over that "All Along the Watchtower" cover).

!!!!! I fu‎cking love those albums, especially Express (which I'm listening to right now). I actually think Mummer gets too much love - some good tracks ("Funk Pop A Roll") but I find Express to be one of their best, especially out of their 80's sounding albums.

Anyone bought any of the Fuzzy Warbles?

I think they're a bit of a rip off really. I mean if he had all those unheard song why not just polish 'em off an put 'em out as a solo album. I've bought the non-XTC songs for itunes which was about £20 and worth it but it's frustrating only hearing them in demo form

i got English Settlement last week and it is great. Senses Working Overtime is one of the catchiest songs ever.

best place to start with xtc?

i've only heard odd songs here and there, i want to delve into an album.

I spent a lot of the day/night listening to XTC, the advice came too late I'm afraid.

I have 4 of their albums, it's good stuff.
I like the more psychedelicy stuff to the more New-Wave/Post-Punk stuff, but it's still all good stuff. Skylarking is my favourite thus far.
