I love Iron & Wine. Especially the songs 'Boy with the Coin' 'The Trapeze Swinger' and 'Such Great Heights.' Very pretty.

I should check the guy out a little more. I have the odd track dotted around which I really like. I just can't keep up with what I want to check out.

I not a big fan of The Shepherd's Dog. My favorite album is Our Endless Numbered Days by far. Also, The Sea & the Rhythm EP was really amazing. I think "Someday the Waves" is my favorite song my him.

I am listening to 'Our Endless Numbered Days' right now. My facial expression is one of bewilderment. There is nothing inherently wrong with it but it lacks passion and soul to me.

I agree with this to a degree. I enjoy listening to Iron & Wine but I realized that theres only maybe 10 songs that I can say I like a lot.

Summary of Iron & Wine's career. If I wanted to hear something Nick Drake did better decades ago I would.

I disagree. I believe he's got quite a bit of passion behind his songs. That could just be my own personal bias.

I think I could like him alot from the few songs I've heard so far. Good rhythm, nice voice, and I'm digging the whole bluesy aspect of it.

He doesn't sound anything like Nick Drake. Like at all.

and its awesome to listen to his discography because taste wise we will all have our favorites but you get to see his evolution as a song writer. i can't say that i liked the shepherd's do as much as i liked his earlier stuff, but amazing none-the-less.
