Default The Builders and The Butchers

They are from Portland, Oregon. They have a very unique sound and a even more outrageous stage presence. They have two drummers because they do not have a traditional drum-set, they use more individual snare and bass and bongos sort of thing. There is a guitar and a bass player and also a mandolin/banjo player. They also utilize cowbell, washboard and tambourines. They are very folksy.

I saw them live last night and thought they were great, the recordings do not do them justice. But you can still check them out if you want. MySpace.com - The Builders And The Butchers - PORTLAND, Oregon - Powerpop / 2-step / Acoustic - www.myspace.com/thebuildersandthebutchers

My favorites are:
Coal Mine Fall
Spanish Death
Bottom of the Lake

Right now they are touring with Amanda Palmer and the Danger Ensemble but they only have a week and a half left of their tour.
