What? A lot of people hate grunge, and I still think it has it's merits. But the vocalist just REALLY grinds my gears. You can't understand a thing he's saying, and he isn't that talented. At least I think so, but people have so many different views when it comes to vocal and musical talent in general.

I also think Vedder's singing is just awesome. Did anyone watch The Who's rock honors? Pearl Jam covers "Love, Reign o'er Me" and I honestly think that Eddie sings it perfectly.

Perhaps grunge demands a different sort of vocalist (if Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder are considered amazing vocalists). In that case, I don't like the typical grunge vocalist. I'm out of this thread then ^_^
