Taken By Trees

Taken by Trees is Victoria Bergsman, the former lead singer of The Concretes. Her 07' release, Open Field, has a really cool laid back melancholy pop sound. It kind of lacks instrumental-wise but she's got a great voice to back it up. Hopefully there will be more releases in the future. If you're a fan of Camera Obscura, the Concretes, Peter Björn and John, or Emiliana Torrini you should definitely check her out.

She rules pretty hard, I got into her when I was obsessed with Young Folks. I kind of want to listen to it again.
