Gotta hate it when experimentation suffers at the hands of fame - truly sucks! If we could only make the two symbiotic...

I got it fourth and a great distance from the top three.

Science is #! on my list

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

So, as a non-Incubus listener...so far...I have been asked to play a couple songs at a party this summer...

Anyone have any feedback as to which 2 or three I should perform?

Which type of Incubus do you want to play? Radio-friendly-pop Incubus or funky-hard-rockers Incubus?

Doesn't matter, really, I can give it my own twist, but I will be playing the songs acoustic with a bassist only, maybe some world percussion. I know, it doesn't sound like the right way to perform a lot of incubus, but we make it work out usually...

Morning View is the album you need to check out. It's their most mellow album, it's still hard rock, but it's probably the easiest album to do an acoustic twist on.

A lot of people consider Science to be their best album, but you'd be hard pressed to make acoustic songs out of that one.

Mexico is a really good acoustic song. Drive is their most popular song and it's an easy one to do on acoustic.

Thanks Boo! I'll check out the Morning View album and Mexico. I already see Warning as a possibility, so you're probably right on the MV.

For what it's worth, Incubus have performed lots of their songs acoustically. It shouldn't be too hard to find some songs that'll work with what you're going for =)
