Bands I found through Pandora
Just wanted to start a thread on this, as I have found so much great music through Pandora.com. Some bands:
Laura Veirs-great voice and awesome piano experimentation. Modest Mouse-I admit, i never gave them a chance, but hearing some of their songs made me get over my prediliction for hating bands that too many people tell me I'll like. Matt Pond PA-Not the greatest, but fun to listen to without thinking, if you're into that kind of thing. The Grownup Noise-OK, a friend of mine is in this band, so I'm totally pimping it, but they rock and they're on Pandora, so it counts. Bands I have come to hate: Arcade Fire-sorry sorry to all those that love this band so much they want to have little arcade babies, but I heard a great quote on how much they suck and just couldn't help myself. "The arcade fire is neutral milk hotel for people that wear suspenders." OH, I crack myself up...and sooo sick of Postal Service and snow patrol. REally? I mean, how many bands like this do we need? How about you guys? My Stars channel makes me happy...

modest mouse is one of my all time favorite bands. get lonesome crowded west if you dont have it. and i don't think arcade fire is that bad. they aren't amazing but they have some good stuff out there. i can't protect snow patrol or postal service though(such great heights is good tho)
