Default Madrugada

Making a little bit of viking propaganda.

Madrugada is this kinda cool Norwegian band I've just discovered, and I've had all the problems in the world finding their CDs here, so I actually had to order them from Danmark. On myspace they cite these guys as influences:
The Gun Club, Suicide, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground, The Doors, David Lynch, Angelo Badalamenti, The Rain Parade, The Byrds, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Cash, Primal Scream, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Masters of Reality, The Jayhawks, Dr John, Howlin Wolf, Joy Division, Robert Johnson, Iggy Pop, The Stooges, The Birthday Party, The Rolling Stones, Max Romeo, U2, REM, Bo Diddley, The Stone Roses, The Cramps, The Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Nick Drake

They've been around since 95, and have 6 studio albums so far...
