Bon Iver
Gorgeous acoustic album For Emma, Forever Ago was released last year and slipped under the radar. For some reason his Myspace page gives him a Neo-Soul label and while he definitely has a great voice, his target audience suggests something different. Melancholic and upbeat at the same time. Listen and love. MySpace.com - Bon Iver - Northwestern, US - Neo-soul - www.myspace.com/boniver

Was finally coerced to listen seeing as how everyone and their grandma seems to be raving about them. Really gorgeous stuff. I'd say the tag "neo soul" is accurate, it's acoustic but there's definitely something highly soulful in his vocal interpretation.
My favorite songs are Flume and Re: Stacks at the mo.

For Emma, Forever Ago is such a beautifully simple album, my friend sent it to me today and I really do love it
Skinny Love is probably my favorite song
