So i popped this on last night and was breathtaken. Beautiful album. Acoustic songrwiters have never been my 'thing' for whatever reasons, Bon Iver is contrary to this as with him it's just the bare essentials, like Jackhammer said really honest music that doesn't have anything unnecessary tagged onto it, just what it needs. At times it was almost like gospel music, music to think big thoughts to but still uplifting.
Probably will be high in my list for the best of the year. The hype is deserved!

I'm currently rediscovering the Godlike Nick Cave and Bon Iver is on the backburner at the mo' tbh.

First listens tells me he's an obviously talented man...but is he special!?
I'll get back on this.

Skinny Love is pretty much real sweet.

So is he saying 'Sinatra blue' or 'So natural blue' in The Wolves. It sounds like 'So natural' to me, and when I first heard it I though it was a really clever line (When your eyes are all painted so natural blue). But all the lyric websites say 'Sinatra'. Thoughts?

Huh, I thought it was "So natural blue" actually, but now that I've payed more attention, I guess it's more likely it's Sinatra blue.
