Is it just me or does anyone else find Beach House terribly nauseating after a few listens?
At first it's nice, but after a few spins, it's just sickly. Like too much cake.

Not really but they're not a band I binge on regularly or anything. I might throw on either Teen Dream or Bloom once every few months. When I first got Teen Dream I had it on heavy rotation for a while and I didn't find it any way nauseating after repeat listens, in fact it seemed to grow on me. The same with Bloom to an extent.

Every time I hear Beach House I get little more surprised by how good they are.

Same. I’ve listened to them a whooooole lot this year. They’re like sonic opiates.

So what did y'all think of their latest double album, Once Twice Melody?

I thought it was great. Perhaps it would've been a bit tighter as a single album, but who cares - there's not really a weak track there.

That said, Bloom is still their masterpiece to me.
