Norway is definitely the first song that caught my attention on Teen Dream but the whole album is great. Devotion is just as good, I think. Beach House really make solid albums all around. I'm excited to see if they can develop their sound even more.

I found their previous albums a bit of a bore honestly, but "Teen Dream" happened to be one of my favorite albums of this year. I do remember them saying something about working alot more on this year's album and it shows. Maybe I'm just close minded and I need catchy songs to fall in love with an album (which the previous albums lacked).
Anyway, did you guys watch the DVD that was packaged with "Teen Dream"? I still have to dig it out of the jacket as I haven't seen it yet. |

They are good, but they get boring fast.

If anyone's interested you can listen to the concert they played at this years roskilde festival here: BEACH HOUSE - P3 Live | Sveriges Radio
i only saw a part of it and i was really tired - so i can't really judge the concert, but it was one of only a very few to receive 6/6 stars. |
