I dunno too much about their music, one of my friends likes them a lot, which makes me to avoid them.
But another friend had me listen to Coin Operated Boy one day and I thought it was pure genius (more in the thought than the actual musical sense). But yea how the song is made like climaxing makes me smile.

Honestly, I could have told you that from the title given that shes a woman in a rock band from Boston. You can almost guarantee there will be a feminist bent with indignant and righteous fury.

No come here, Im starting to learn in my old age that if you meet one of these Bostonian suicide-girl rejects, you've met them all. They all have window frames, and stupid coloful tattoo's of birds and flowers and they wear stripped leggings and they don't shave their legs so you'll say something and they can get up on a ****ing soap box to go on a rant like you hear in this song.
Apparently having a personal or aesthetic preference is the same as patriarchal oppression and over turning Roe v. Wade...on second thought do not come to boston.

Dresden Dolls
Their self-titled album was really really cool, and I'm really digging them at the moment. Bestest Songs are Missed Me, Coin Operated Boy, Girl Anarchronism, Sex Changes, and Jeep Song
I never get search engine to work properly

I'm not sure if thats just spam or if you were refering to an unquoted comment but thats the best vulgar poetry i've seen here in awhile. Incomprehensible, but humerous.
Thier last album was a commercial flop but I think this is one of the "Exile" moments where an album should be judged 6 months after its release. They had no massive singles or singable hooks but it was still a solid album. Has anyone changed their opinions about "Yes, Virginia"

I still stand by my opinions completely. It wasnt as good as their debut but still good on its own. In fact, forget that, I think I like it more now than when it was first released. Too bad they havent been to michigan in like a year or so...
