Seriously? I'll try and find a torrent, didn't think it'd leak so quickly though..

Meh, these days a lot of 'Indie' bands get labeled Indie when they're not.
yeah but I hate that. indie isn't a genre, as much as people act like it is...

The term used to annoy me, but I've just accepted Indie has its own sound and style, despite it not having the true Indie roots. I always felt "Indie pop" was a great big oxymoron.

Silly genres.

Fucks sake, you sure it has leaked? I can't find it anywhere.

I agree with this. my favourite song from the album is 'the handshake', it's one of the more serious songs (it's obvious many of the songs are tongue-in-cheek).

I'll see to their latest...

you can hear the whole new album on MGMT's website. I couldn't finish it really... bland and boring. will try again another day i'm sure but don't expect much!

Yeah i listened to a few tracks and was a bit underwhelmed by them. They just seem to be missing that bite that most of the tracks on Oracular Spectacular had. I certainly won't be expecting any big hits like Kids and Time To Pretend. It probably won't be a bad album overall after a few more listens, they sound like they're concentrating on an entire album this time rather than just a few killer singles. But i can see the fickle mainstream media, hungry for more 'Kids', tearing this album to shreds.
