Atlas Sound, album finally out
Dunno if anybody here holds much interest in Deerhunter, but their lead guy Bradford Cox's solo project's first album has now come out. It's quite different in many ways to Cryptograms, Fluorescent Grey and other Deerhunter releases. I may even like it more.
Has anybody it them much of a go yet? MySpace.com - Atlas Sound - Atlanta / Portland, Georgia - Psychedelic / Christian / Grunge - www.myspace.com/bradfordcox |

The new album is out, and while pretty good (I seem to recall listening to the first album and HATING it, so that's a surprise...unless I'm making all this up...:| ), it kinda sounds like Animal Collective, 3 albums ago...*unsure* No wonder Noah Lennox guests...(that's a great song btw).

The new album is the best album of 2009. fucking incredible. I wasn't wacky about "Let the Blind Lead", but the singles and songs released on Bradford's blog I REALLY fell in love with (Activation, Holiday, Requiem for all the Lonely Teenagers, etc.), and Logos surpassed even my high expectations. Pretty much every song is either on par with, or surpasses the best he's done with Atlas Sound thusfar.
