Wondering if you guys could help me find some similar artist maybe I haven't heard of.

I'm looking for bands that sound like The Hives, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse that sort of thing.

Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse are anything but average guitar bands. They also sound nothing alike, but if you like Arcade fire, you should hear Wolf Parade. That's all I got at the mo...

My selection are average guitar bands, with the possible exception of Puritans.

If you like Arcade Fire listen to Polyphonic Spree.
There's a ton of bands that sound like Arctic Monkeys and none of them are worthwhile.
Modest Mouse are good but its hard to compare them.

Built to Spill sounds like Modest Mouse. Check out Pixies too.

Go for the strokes too. Architecture in Helsinki for modest mouse-ish singer.

I wouldnt class Arcade Fire as an average guitar band, certainly not in the same league as Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight etc who definitely are.

They may not be exactly similar but if you like Arcade Fire try Hope Of The States.
