Hmm, well a lot of songs off of Putting The Days to Bed by The Long Winters fit the purpose quite well.

I also really like Crown of Love by The Arcade Fire, for the pure sulking value. Or if you want to be put in a better mood, What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

Yeah, ditto on Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" (without the other person!) Here are my other picks.

1. "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt
2. "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars
3. "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado

One of my very favourite Lennon tracks.

this is literally the best out of love song ever, listen to the lyrics.
oh and you can hear her right near the end almost crying, its sung by two twin sisters and is about a boy that dumped one of them, but she was with him for a long time, excelent song.

Unhappy Songs that break your heart...

You know, those slow melodic ballads about heartache and breakups, with those sorrowful lyrics that cause tears to run down your cheeks and an dull ache in your chest??

Let's hear about 'em!

Mine would be...

Running up that hill-Placebo
Lovesick-Kill Hannah
Demolition lovers-MCR
Bang bang (my baby shot me down)-Nancy sinatra...

;P
