really eh? maybe i should re-listen to at war with the mystics cos when i heard it i thought it was boring and for some reason really annoying.

Soft Bulletin is their best. This is not an opinion but fact. I have classified documents to prove it.

the Lips turned into church music, they lost the edge... all saccharine and fluffy like their live show.

Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots probs has the best ratio of accessibility to quality so I'd say start with that

I like all of their albums but Transmissions and Yoshimi are their best imo
