Something like this
trying to find new music, in the kind of acoustic alternative area. I really like Time and Distance for a kind of reference of what i like. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Crowquill is the man for this. I'm sure he will give you plenty of bands and artists. Have you tried Okervill River? I am starting to like them more and more.

Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Hello Saferide, Beck (Sea Change), Devendra Banhart, Linda Perhacs, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Good Life, Vashti Bunyan, Page France, Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins, The Elected, The City on Film, Kevin Devine, Iron & Wine, Ryan Adams and Owen.

Thanks for the input with the artist crowquill, some of it was pretty good, i like Nick Drake, and ryan adams, and i think i could get into Elliot smith, but none really match what kind of music i was looking for, so i got a sample of their stuff.
