Their new album is available on both iTunes and Amazon today. You can buy it on Amazon for $3.99.

I didn't get the hype over their debut before, I found it annoying when it wasn't just boring, but this new album actually made me revisit that album also, and now I really like them both. Something just clicked in place for me I guess.

Yeah, I loved their debut album, and I am really liking Contra as well. I still think it will be hard to beat their self titled but as Shake said above, they definitively managed to maintain their unique sound that they have established.

cousins and horchata were fun but on the other hand giving up the gun was awful. the rest of the album seemed to be just more of the same. so i can't say i really feel positively or negatively about this album, its was ok.

Heard codes in the melodies, you heeded the call,
You were born with ten fingers, and you're gonna use em all.

Interest in colors I discovered myself.
If your art-life is gritty, you'll be toastin' my health.
If an interest in culture, you should be lining the walls,
When your birthright is interest, you could just accrue it all.

Me and my cousins, and you and your cousins,
It's a line thats always running.

Me and my cousins and you and your cousins,
I can feel it coming.
Does anyone else here these and immiediately think "INCEST"? You were born with all ten fingers, eh? Not any extras?

I liked the second album, not as much as the first granted. Seemed like a few people were unhappy with it. Dunno why, good effort.

Yeah, I feel like everyone thought Contra was a bit of a let down. But according to the play counts on Last.fm it seems like people are listening to both albums pretty equally... so maybe its all in our heads, you know, high expectations and whatnot..
