Not sure if anyone posted this since i checked in the search spot, but has anyone heard of land of talk? I saw them on some youtube video interview, listened to their album "some are lakes", and thought they were a great band. anyone familiar with them?

doesn't have the same energy that their debut had. i like horchata, white sky, holiday, and run. the rest of the tracks are passable. the voice effects on California English anger me. and giving up the gun is awful.

I love Vampire Weekend. I just acquired a copy of the new album, Contra, and they seem to have managed to hang on to their unique sound, while expanding on the first album quite a bit. I've only listend to about half the album, but "Cousins" seems to be a stand-out track so far
