69 Love Songs is incredible holy shit that is all I have to say. Stephin Merritt is brilliant. All My Little Words is my favorite song. I'm seriously in love if anyone wants this I'll get it to them. At times it's kind of Joy Divisionsy other times its kind of Microphonesy and all the times it's good.

So... what are people's favourite songs off of Distortion? I'm still not entirely sure yet, but the one that stood out most for me on early listens was Please Stop Dancing.

I feel like a lot of the songs on the Distortion album have nothing to do with each other. I think he wrote them at different times in his life, couldn't find anything to do with them, and decided to put them together with distortion as the only common element. Its a good album though. Xavier Says <3 <3 <3

I've only heard bits and pieces of the rest of their discography, haven't really bothered but a lot of it is unintentionally hilarious to me.
This song is definitely not supposed to be funny but it just ****ing is. I'm sorry for laughing at your pain Stephen Meritt.
