Bump.
I just wanted to show my love for this band, I remember the first time I listened to 69 Love Songs, I didn't like it at first and left it for a long time. Then I decided to listen to it again, and holy shit - they're the most wonderfully crafted Pop songs you could wish for. Lots of wit, lots of cynicism. What an absolute brilliant album. The Charm of the Highway Strip is brilliant to. |

It's definitely their best and most daring album, if they got it wrong you'd have a really long dull album but they got it right. The Charm of the Highway Strip and Holiday aren't too far behind... But 69 Love Songs is their masterpiece. |

They're quite a good band, I just love 69 Love Songs. If I have a spare 3 hours and I'm in a mood where I can hold my concentration then it's perfect. So fun, entertaining and charming. I like how most of their albums have common themes running through them. The Magnetic Fields |

You think you are late? I just started a thread that was started three years ago!
No matter. One of the few living musical geniuses. I'm not sure which song is my favourite but it is probably off 69 lovesongs. If I have to pick one it's The Grand Canyon. |
