I've never really looked at it that way before but I cant argue with that. If Pete Doherty leaves, Babyshambles are done. They're not exactly the kind of band to continue without him, they cant continue without him really.

Noah and the Whale's new album was pretty damn good, wouldn't call them indie though, they are released through Vertigo which is owned by Universal, the same arguments could be made for a lot of those bands though so I guess it doesn't matter.
