I LOVE their name.. And their music really backs it up too.

Great band, but I agree it's a pretty awful band name, the parenthesis are so stupid.

I don't necessarily believe in pretentious band names, but if I was gonna pick one, that'd be it.

I think the last three on that list are all pretty clever to be honest.

Witch House is a bad joke

The majority of bands using the word "animal" or the name of an animal in their band name, qualifies as **** music in my opinion. (With rare exceptions:)

I think the The Animals were a pretty good band.

Not if it exemplifies their sound. I understand if someone calls themselves the Melting Crows just because it sounds cool, but if the animal in their name is actually relevant to the sound then it works. Now if it's something like "The Red Rockets" then there may be a problem.

Bands named after vegetables, on the other hand, are just wonderful. Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, KoRn... all are great!

I expected something really cool from the genre when I was recommended some artists, but it was just boring, repetitive dance music.
