its the type of music that grows on you once you listen to it a few times. I couldn't stand them before but I love them now. I will possess your heart does have a long intro but once he starts singing its worth it.

I've been listening to their new album a lot lately, And I'm really impressed.
I did listen to it a couple of times when it released and forgot about it.(although i liked it a lot) I'm goona as far as saying this is their best album! I will posses your heart is definitely one of the highlights of the album...only one song at the end felt out of place imo.(forgot the name) |

I'm assuming he was simply attempting to get a rise out of someone. I would hardly say that they are "clearly" a mainstream band. They enjoyed some success and attention following Plans release but are still relatively unknown to most.

I think Ben Gibbard (lead singer/guitarist/lyricist of Death Cab For Cutie and the Postal Service) writes some of the most meaningful lyrics I've ever heard.
I really like Death Cab and also Gibbard's side project the Postal Service. However, I Will Posess Your Heart from Narrow Stairs just makes me crazy. No song needs that much meaningless instrumental in the beginning. |
