ok well let me re-phrase it, on several different music websites dashboard is considered by several to be indie or even emo. i disagree, but i have seen them lumped together with deathcab and others.
i agree with you, i just see why some think they are similiar

DashBoard in no way is anything like Death Cab, if you want something like Death Cab check out The Thrills, or something like that.
