I had not heard of Dutch before, thanks for the refer. I bought it on CDBaby for $5 or so, and it is great. |

Some more Trip-hop
This thread has a large number of recommendations that I totally agree with. A few more favorites of mine that appear to be missing would also have to include:
Sissy- All Under Puracane - In Limbo - The Lost Puracane Sessions Brother Sun Sister Moon - The Great Game Atomica - Metropolitan Beauty's Confusion - Breathe In Luminous - Luminous Halou - Wholeness and Separation Kohann - Mil bed Second Person - The Elements Some are hard to find, but well worth it. Be careful with some of these (like Luminous), as the names seems to be common to many artists which are not the right ones. I wanted to put some links to assist, but I am not permitted due to insufficient posts. I would suggest CDBaby as a first stop, and Amazon has many. |
Quasimoto.....he gotta a grimlin voice...

Backspaceunwind by Lamb, is a great album, although it's much more than just trip hop, there's electronica in there, and lots of different stuff

Demon Days is one of my favorites. |
The last two Talk Talk albums, Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock, are often cited as precursors to trip-hop, especially the latter.
Also try early No-man, eg the album Flowermouth. As someone else said, I don't think trip-hop borrows much from hip-hop, which confused me in the beginning because with that name you would expect it to. |
