I quite like the new album, more of the same but in a more bitesize package. Great summer music, if only the weather hadn't gone rubbish today

I caught them live about a week ago and to be honest they were pretty boring.

I'm glad you think so. Seeing them hopefully in August they're playing in Chapel Hill. I wish I had gone to Bonnaroo to see Tobacco.

Hmm... seems to be some mixed opinions here. I loved Dandelion Gum; haven't heard anything else by them but it quickly moved into a position as one of my favorite albums. The music isn't really much like anything else I've listened to, I guess it's heavy on vocoder? It captured my attention immediately with their quirky electronic sound. The Octopus Project is a very similar band, I would say they are a little more technical. I know it's been said in this thread before, but their collaboration album is amazing. If you like BMSR, check it out you'll love it.

I listened to Sun Lips and I'm interested, downloading Dandeloin Gum right now.

EDIT: Listened most of the album and I'm really enjoying it, I love the thick, electronic sound

Never heard of The Octopus Project, I'll check them out. I love electronic music, but I honestly haven't really gotten into it yet. I've been exposed to electronic mostly through bands I listen to that are influenced by it and incorperate it into their music. I know and love a few electronic artists though like Flying Lotus.
