Les Savy Fav
The searching button is sucking theres probably already a thread on them. I'm posting this mainly to post their tour dates.
Anyway I have The Cat and the Cobra and Let's Stay Friends if anyone wants them. I think my favorite song is We've Got the Boxes. Recommendations: We've Got the Boxes The Equestrian Who Rocks the Party Patty Lee Quote:

The new album is the dog's bollocks...on the first listen that is.

I have inches, and I liked it. It's more of an album you listen while doing something else than real quality listen-to-intensely-music. I might go to their concert though, that could be fun.

Question to ETHAN~!: would this, in any world, be regarded as emo or even emo-esque? |

"Let's Stay Friends", while it's Les Savy Fav through and through, is probably not the best place to start as it's significantly more poppy than their other stuff. I'd suggest Inches, which is pretty much the definitive LSF album. It gathers together various singles not previously available elsewhere, spanning over 8 years. If you like that, you'll like the band.

The Sweat Descends (off Inches) is probably the most played song on my Ipod. Lets Stay Friends was in my top ten (probably five) records of 2007. Harrington is the pinnacle of fat, balding psychopaths anywhere in the world. I love LSF, wish they would come to Australia some time soon.
