Oh well, maybe he makes good muzak, I'm sure I'll listen to it and fall in love with it years after everyone else...

Rufus Wainwright
this guy is pretty cool, i downloaded a heap of his songs, the one i like best (out of 8 or songs) is 'going to a town'. i recommend this song to anyone who hasn't heard it yet.
and while you're downloading/listening rufus met a guy at a bar one night. Rufus wanted to go into a park to see ''a big concert that was going on'', the guy he was with raped and robbed and started to strangle him, the only way rufus was saved was by faking an epileptic fit. he was celibate for the next 7 years. and he was also addicted to crystal meth for a couple years i think. (got this from wikipedia). so, DOWNLOAD!! or BUY!! NOW!! or discuss also, if you cant find the song, gimme your e-mail and ill send it to you. |

My love for Rufus goes deep, very very deep. I can go for weeks without listening to his music, but every time I come back to it it goes to the core.
Going to see him live here in London in a few weeks time. Can't wait. I've seen him a few times before and a Rufus gig is always amazing. |

rufus is THE man, blows anyone out of the water on the scene today, hands down. his voice is ridiculous and he can do something so many artists seem to have forgotten how to do: Write pop songs! he has real melodies with cool arrangements and clever lyrics, with a killer voice to boot. he better win some awards and start getting some major recognition soon or there's just no hope anymore...r0ck on rufus
