Nude, Reckoner and Jigsaw Falling Into place are 3 of Radiohead's best 7 songs

How come everytime you post a "controversial" opinion you have to follow it up with a statement like "I bet the conformists won't like this!" did you ever consider the statement is outlandish for a reason? Example: because it isn't true?

Although I enjoyed it, I really didn't find anything special about In Rainbows that would set it apart from OK Computer which is disputably Radiohead's best.

My favourite Radiohead album is actually HTTT. My Favourite songs are Pyramid Song, Go to Sleep, There there, Everything in its right place, How to dissapear completely, Bishops Robes, and Knives out.

Not including live versions of said songs or others, which are a mixed bag.

"NUDE" is good.

the rest is good too.

This is Radiohead's third best album imo.

"Reckoner" is very good.

good.

What do you all think about when you listen to "Videotape"? Are there any images or associations you make with the song?

i've had this album since it was released on their website and while i like it, it hasn't grown on me the way ok computer did. it's really a shame that they can't drop another one similar to that one. i respect their need to "move forward" and "continue to develop as a band," but i really wish they could just keep cranking out ok computer-esque albums.

1. ok computer
2. the bends
3. kid a/amnesiac
4. httt/in rainbows
5. pablo honey

I agree 100%

As much as it hurts me to say, I really don't see Radiohead coming out with anything better than what they have already put out.

chartsengrafs 03-25-2008 10:52 AM

definitely.

on an entirely different note, i listened to the second disc for the first time yesterday..

....for the last time yesterday.

I hadn't realized that so many Radiohead fans were OK Computer leg-humpers. I would say their best album is Kid A. I feel it has the most cohesion as an album front-to-back, new and complex sounds/sound combinations that work really well together, and nearly all the lyrics mean more to me than the songs off of OK Computer. I see Kid A as having more depth and being more thought out than OK Computer, thus making it the better album.

^^I agree completly
Kid A has always been my favorite Radiohead album
And I do think that it is indeed better than both OK Computer and In Rainbows
