Empty Souls is good but the real great stuff is reserved for deep cuts. Shame the album only got two singles.

My favourite Manics song is probably 'You Love Us', although with the original outro which I think was far better!

^Good early manics tune, but I think they definitely have a lot better.

The new album 'Rewind the Film' comes out in September and so far the band have released two tracks from the record, and videos. I have to say I think both of the tracks are unlike anything they have done before.

Rewind the Film - with Richard Hawleys wonderful voice providing the lead vocal.

Show Me The Wonder. A definite departure.

Well, after reading through this thread again, I think I'm the only commenter who is still hanging around. (It made me sad to see Howard here, RIP my good man)

Do the remaining MB members like this band or nah?

I recently managed to win an autographed LP of the Holy Bible on eBay. I won't lie, this is like my holy grail of LPs and oh yeah, it's gonna be framed.

I still haven't listened to the their latest in full yet. I'm not expecting much based on Resistance is Futile.

I pretty much only like the Holy Bible and Motorcycle Emptiness but I've done a couple laps with Holy Bible and would say it's among my favorites

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Man, I'd be embarassed to know how many laps I've done with The Holy Bible.

What albums of theirs have you listened to in full? If you haven't heard them, you should definitely check out Everything Must Go and Lifeblood.

I heard Everything Must Go as a recommendation from this forum I think a long time ago and never revisited it, I could do so tonight and let you know my current thoughts on it
