Any1 heard of 'Ivan Campo'?
 

i think they're signed to honey records but not many people have heard of them for 1 reason or another.

basically they are an acoustic based, well i would say indie band but their sound is pretty unique. i really want these guys to make it big because i feel the world is missing out severely. you can download tracks from their site i think (www.ivancampo.net) and, well, i stumbled upon this message board and thought i'd ask if anyone had heard of them and what you think, and also just to spread the word and tell you that if you don't check these out you really are missing out.

^ its a band, not a guy, and did you listen to the clips? the qaulity of the clips are pretty bad, but as for the music, its not bad at all. It's a little too mellow for my taste, but not bad. Not crazy about the lyrics in sweet sweet music though.

The link wasn't working when I just tried, but Ivan Campo the person is a soccer player, who plays for Bolton, and has massive hair. He's great, hope the band are too.

i think i'm correct in saying that the distortion/scratchy effect is part of their sound. it's a bit strange at first but once you get used to it u'll realise it goes really well with the music.

oops my mistake i thought i was just a guy i got mixed up with his name as the band name but yeah they dont sound to good.

I don't know the band, but I know the football player, I would rate him as being pretty good, well he was a couple of years ago but now he's getting kinda ****e!
