I like Pavement. "Brighten the Corners" is my favourite because its the one where they quit it with all of the arseing about thats all over the first three albums (all those half finished songs that just sort of peter out.) Its a much more cohesive album and is stronger for it. One great song after another. Hell, even the forgotten album tracks are great. Really languid summer music. Its weird to think this album came out nearly 15 years ago and now theres all of these indie surf bands like Best Coast and Wavves getting good reviews.

kennel district off wowee zowee is an underrated song though.
