Is that the Matador 21st party? It looks insane. Guided By Voices, Belle and Sebastian, Yo La Tengo and Cold Cave are also playing
To my knowledge it's just Pavement and SY, No Age is opening.

I got my ticket

Slanted & Enchanted disappointed me somewhat. I listened to it fully once or twice maybe, and couldn't be arsed to do it again. Summer Babe (Winter Version) is a good song though.

Ah right, must be a different thing then.

It's safe to say I hate you. I wish SY would come over here :'( I'd go absolutely anywhere in the country to see them.

Probably the best find as far as bands go for me in a looonnnggg time. Oddly I didn't find these guys through the forums . Favorite song is Trigger Cut/Wounded-Kite at :17, just resonates with me for some reason.

Really, really disappointed I missed the tour last year. I just hope it happens again, I thought that their website said 2011 tour dates though, seems to be roughly the same schedule though, sooo I'm thinking they never updated the 2010. Fingers crossed though.

If there was one Pavement song you'd recommend to everybody, what song would that be? I never really listened to them, but it seems they're a very influential indie act so I figured, "Why not try 'em out?" I just don't know where to start.

I wouldn't just recommend a single song, I would recommend their album Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. With the opener Silence Kit, your going to know whether or not Pavement is a band you can groove to. Also there is Stop Breathin', Cut Your Hair, and Gold Soundz to look fowrard to.

This is pure, true Pavement to me

That's from their watery, domestic EP.

OHMYGOD! I love that song! Thanks so much! Watery, Domestic is now on my "try-to-remember-to-buy-soon-because-of-one-great-song-on-YouTube" list!
