When I first listened to Slanted and Enchanted I thought it was terrible. But after listening to it anumber of times I started to realise that some of the songs on there were absolutely fantastic. Maybe not one of the most accessible albums but it certainly grows on you.

i would have to say slanted is my favorite also. Its really cool from my perspective because i listened first to bands that were influenced by them before i heard them and its so cool to hear the genius.

Pavement are marvellous. It took me a while to get into them cos I didn't start with CR, CR, which is definitely their go-to album. Once I listened to it though it definitely broadened my horizons and got me into their other stuff. Coincidentally, they'd just announced a residency at Brixton Academy just as I got right into them so I went down to see them and they were mindblowing.

Been listening to the deluxe version of CR, CR today and the version of Grounded on the second CD is so good.
