Hanne?
Ok, I have been a Bjork fan for a while, but the new album just left me sort of wanting... Someone recommended I check out Hanne Hukkelberg. She is quite good... reminds me of Bjork, but very fresh.
Also check out this video of hers on YouTube... It is her coving the Kinks - All Day and All of the Night Awesome! |

Declare Independance jumps out at me like a twenty foot pole.
Listen to that then the Anchor Song.

Wow, Volta. I was so disappointed. I've been a Bjork fan for quite a while and I've always been excited about her new releases but I couldn't get my head around this one. And comparing it to the perfection that was Medulla made it sound even worse.
It's not all negative, though. I think Innocence is one of the best songs she's ever done and Earth Intruders is cool too. Working with Timbaland was the best idea in the world. And I like the cover... |

I actually really liked the album. I do like a lot of her older songs better, but I think Volta was still a good album, way better than a lot of other new stuff I've heard (by other artists) recently (in my opinion).
